Dr. Rosa Hernández Sheets graduated from UW in 1995 with a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction. Currently an associate professor at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Sheets has a new book out that is poised to make a major contribution in the field of diversity pedagogy. Read more

After graduating from UW School of Medicine (2006), I completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2010. Since then I have taken time off to travel, relax, and spend time with family. Read more

My husband Michael Mariano and I (CBE, March ’06) started our own architectural practice in 2004, Schemata Workshop. We just received a national award from AARP and the National Association of Home Builders. Read more

I graduated in 2008 and am currently the Recruiting Programs Manager at CampusPoint located in downtown Seattle. I love my job as I get to work mostly with current college students and recent college graduates, helping connect them with local employers for internships and careers! Read more

University of Washington faculty, staff, and students celebrated the grand opening of the new Center for Undergraduate Advising, Diversity & Student Success in Mary Gates Hall on Wed., March 16. Sheila Edwards Lange, Vice President for Minority Affairs and Vice Provost for Diversity, Eric Godfrey, Vice Provost for Student Life and Ed Taylor, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new center that officially opened its doors in January.
