Sports Marketer:

Promotes/sells sports products or services. Works for college or pro teams, leagues, sporting-goods companies, advertising and licensing firms.
Education: 4-year college degree in sports marketing
Yearly Income: $25,000-$150,000.

Sports Communicator:

Publicity officers work for teams or individual athletes. Sportswriters, tv journalist, and announcers work for news organizations.
Education: 4 year degree in journalism or related field usually required
Yearly income: $15,000-150,000.
