Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs


GEAR UP fosters college awareness and readiness for low-income middle and high school students by providing a variety of programs targeted to students, administrators, and teachers.

College Planning Workshops»
In the 2010-2011 school year, the UW State GEAR UP Project will offer regional workshops on college applications, scholarships and financial aid, and how to successfully transition to college.
The Collaborative for Educators»
The Collaborative for Instructional Development (the Collaborative) provides professional development opportunities for educators in partner schools located throughout Washington who work with GEAR UP students.
