WELCOME...
to the Washington State Early Outreach Partnership Website
The University of Washington and Washington State GEAR UP Programs have come together to document and share some of the promising best practices in early ourtreach. This collection of information will offer guidance to individuals who provide early outreach services to students and parents without having to invest additional time in developing the concepts of services, but rather focus on the implementation and collaboration efforts.
The Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity is proud to host the Early Outreach web page. The information shared here reflects our departments mission to ensure the access and academic success of a diverse student population through the advancement of knowledge, academic excellence, diversity, and a climate that enriches the campus experience for all.

Washington State University Tri-Cities was the lead agency in this venture but the outcome would not have been possible without the partnership of University of Washington, Big Bend Community College, Columbia Basin College, Skagit Valley College, and Walla Walla Community College. The following GEAR UP programs have also cooperated in the project: Wenatchee GEAR UP, Washington State GEAR UP, Yakima GEAR UP, Eastern Washington University GEAR UP, The Evergreen State College GEAR UP, and Central Washington University GEAR UP.
