ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Dream Project is looking to hire three AmeriCorps members (Curriculum Development Coordinator, Internship Support & Training Coordinator, and Student Services Coordinator) who will serve together at the University of Washington in the Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity. Their primary functions will be to assist with managing our mentorship program that connects undergraduate mentors with high school students, to support student leaders and interns, and to develop innovative strategies to increase college mentor participation rates.

The Curriculum Development Coordinator will create and facilitate Dream Project lectures and compile resources on post-secondary pathways.
The Internship Support & Training Coordinator will foster professional development in Dream Project’s undergraduate interns.
The Student Services Coordinator will support community building and recruitment efforts across the UW campus.
All Dream Project AmeriCorps members will receive training on-site and at regional meetings with the Washington Service Corps.

Members will generally serve 9am-5pm on Monday-Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Members will also occasionally support some evening or week end events.

BENEFITS:
● Living wage stipend of $1,945.24 per month, provided by Washington Service Corps.
● Health insurance provided by Washington Service Corps which meets the
Minimal Essential Coverage provision of the Affordable Care Act.

● Segal Americorps Education Award of $6,095, provided by the National
Service Trust upon successful completion of the 10.5 month term of service
and 1,700 hours.
● Eligibility for student loan forbearance and potential interest accrual
payment on qualifying loans.
● Childcare assistance, if eligible.
