The “Fit”

We believe that our team should be a balanced blend of personalities, strengths, experiences, and backgrounds that encompass the entire spectrum.  We’re not just looking for “butts in [office] seats,” we’re looking for a “fit.”  Nothing about us is cookie-cutter and no two days are the same.  Willing to learn and are okay with not knowing what exactly is going to come next?  If you have a sense of humor and thrive on excitement and creativity in a fast-paced, constantly-changing office and event setting, then this might be your gig.

We work hard…really hard. We need someone who will make their commitment to Husky Athletics a priority.  The hours can be long, the work isn’t always going to be glamorous, and you may find yourself surviving on concession stand hot dogs or protein bars at some point throughout the year.  If you’re not afraid to roll up the sleeves and say “bring it on!” to any task with a smile, we’re interested in you!  Our team is classy in both actions and words – though you don’t have to be the best dressed (we’ll provide you with some sweet gear).  But if you believe appearance, manners, and presentation matter, then keep reading.

We want rockstars that value integrity, understand the UW brand, take initiative, bring unique perspectives to the table, have welcoming personalities, and can excel within a team setting or independently.  We are looking for someone who can consistently see high-quality projects through to completion while keeping in mind the values of our brand and fan base.  Someone who is going to bring their “A” game every single day, inspire others to do the same, and have some fun in the process.  Up for the challenge?

If you just think football games are cool, this isn’t for you.  If you think football games are cool and you want to learn about and be a part of the behind-the-scenes work while connecting with Husky fans in a meaningful way, then this this might be for you.  If you think Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Track & Field, Cross Country, Golf, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, Gymnastics, and Crew are just as sweet as football, this might be for you.  This is not your average one-size-fits-all internship.  We tailor projects to you, your career goals, and interests.  In return, we expect your full commitment.  If you are looking to surround yourself with driven professionals, experienced mentors, and enthusiastic peers that are passionate about improving each day, then we encourage you to apply.
