Participate in a Sisterhood Initiative Focus Group
The Sisterhood initiative (SI) is a new cohort-based program that is designed to support and promote the success of underrepresented women of color undergraduates at the UW. In order to welcome the first SI cohort in the fall of 2022, we need your input.
Join us at one of two 90-minute focus groups to share your experiences and reflections on your time as a woman of color undergraduate at the UW. Both sessions will run from 1:00-2:30 PM PST.
- Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022: WOC undergraduates pursuing STEM majors
- Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022: WOC undergraduates pursuing non-STEM majors
Participants must be an undergraduate student and identify as a woman of color from at least one of the following groups: American Indian/Alaskan Native, Black/African American, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latinx or Southeast Asian.
Focus groups are limited to 25 students per group and each student will receive a $25 Visa gift card for their participation. The deadline to register for a focus group is Monday, Jan. 17 at 5 PM PST.
