Dr. Dean received his MD from and PhD from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Oncology at the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA.
