Dana-Farber - A phase II, open label study of gefitinib (IRESSA) in treatment-naive subjects with stage IIIB or IV non-small cell lung cancer and somatic activating mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor.
Genentech - A multicenter randomized phase II study of erlotinib, cisplatin, and radiotherapy versus cisplatin and radiotherapy in patients with stage III and IV squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck
Training
Dr. Martins received his MD from Federal University of Rio de Janiero, Brazil. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Gundersen Clinic, La Crosse, WI . He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Hematology/Oncology at Massachuesetts General/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
