About OPB and OPBlog
The UW Office of Planning & Budgeting (OPB) is located on the 12th floor of the UW Tower, where the staff supports the University of Washington community in accomplishing its goals through the planning and allocation of financial and physical resources, and providing analysis and information services to enhance decision-making, planning and policy formation.
Sarah Hall, the Assistant Vice Provost for the Office of Planning & Budgeting, oversees the three units that comprise OPB, Operating Resource Planning (ORP), Institutional Analysis (IA), and State Budget and Policy Analysis.
OPB strives to be an efficient and effective resource for the entire campus community when it comes to the university budgets, tuition and fees, university and peer group data, central university policies, higher education policy and more. Throughout our website you will find a wealth of information on these topics.
We have created this blog, OPBlog: Higher Ed Junction, to keep you as up to date as possible on what we are working on here in OPB. We look forward to your comments and suggestions for continually improving the usefulness of this space. Please contact us at any time with inquiries.
