The University of Washington Outcomes Research Collaborative (ORC) unites health services and outcomes researchers in surgical subspecialties who are spread out across departments and institutions. ORC gives faculty and fellow researchers an opportunity to share progress on and get help planning research projects, to give exposure and high level critiques to residents and student projects, and to set the stage for future center grant projects and training grants. Attendings and residents from many departments across the UW School of Medicine are a part of the Outcomes Research Collaborative, including Anesthesiology, Burns & Plastics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Gerontology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Otolaryngology, Pediatric Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Urogynecology, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.

The Outcomes Research Collaborative meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month, 7:30-9am, in room RR401 of the Health Sciences Building. Each investigator has an opportunity to present his or her work at least twice per year. Please contact Sarah Lawrence to be added to the listserv.
