To apply for funding for Summer 2014 through Spring 2015, complete the 2014-15 Childcare Assistance Application online and submit by April 30, 2014 for priority funding. If you qualify, notifications of awards will be sent out in early June.
- enrolled at UW Seattle Campus
- must be legal, physical, custodial parent of child
- meet low income limitations
- must pay Service and Activities fee any quarter receiving subsidy
- must use Department of Early Learning (DEL) licensed provider not related by blood or marriage to student
For the 2014-15 school year, you will need to complete a Child Care Assistance Application to the Student Parent Resource Center by the priority deadline of April 30, 2014. In addition you will need to have submitted a 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
International students do not complete the FAFSA. To apply for assistance, in addition to completing the online Child Care Assistance Application, you must download and complete an International Student Financial Statement. Submit the Financial Statement and a copy of your I-20 to the Student Parent Resource Center.
The amount of child care assistance is determined by the ages(s) of your children and your enrollment status. If you are attending less than full-time, your assistance is also determined by your class level and number of credits you are enrolled in for the quarter. View the attached list for voucher amounts.
