Welcome to the Home Page of the Occupational Health & Safety Section of the American Public Health Association. The OHS Section facilitates information exchange, networking, and organizing among members nationwide, with the purpose of improving health and safety for all workers.  Go to our Section Description page for more details.

Careers in Occupational and Environmental Health: You can find information on opportunities in occupational and environmental safety and health in our careers and opportunities booklet developed in 1996, which we hope to update.

The section also has a listserve to communicate timely information regarding important legislation, news, and action alerts.  It is also available more discussion of important topics or relevant announcements to the section.  Any listserve member can post a message to the group.

      (that is a lowercase letter "L", not the number 1)
