Values are 89 percent that of age-matched mean (0.64 SD below 76-year-old mean), and 68 percent that of young-normal mean (2.49 SD below 25-year-old mean). Average bone mineral density for the left femoral neck is -2.48 SD below 25-year-old mean.
Density of the lumbar spine decreased by 3.2 percent over 15 months, or 2.70 percent per year. Density of the left hip decreased by 3.8 percent over 15 months, or 3.24 percent per year.
