Practice Priorities
Dr. Bohannon maintains a practice philosophy of ‘Patients and Families First,' spending time educating her patients with the information and care to provide them with the tools for the best decisions in their care, comfort, and cancer treatment.  Her priority is the best outcome while maintaining quality of life standards for patients, families and caregivers.

Research Interests
Currently, Dr. Bohannon is interested in research surrounding design of patient decision aids in head and neck cancer. Decision aids facilitate evidence-based patient choice and can be helpful to patients and families in the setting where there is more than one treatment option.

In addition, she is also interested in resident physician training and ways to maximize the learning environment, such as simulation training.
