The Department of Housing and Food Services offers a variety of programs for students and their families. On-Campus housing includes two housing complexes for married couples or registered, same-sex domestic partners with children. A childcare center is available in each of the complexes. Community services are offered which provide both social and educational programs for student-parents and their families, and a Community Center is maintained which offers space for individual student family activities, equipment and recreational material checkout services, laundry ticket sales and office hours for drop-in services. A month long summer enrichment program provides daily activities for children and is provided at a nominal cost to student-parents.

The Center for Career Services and the Student Counseling Center offer workshops and services with student-parents in mind. For example, the Center for Career Services offers a Salary Negotiations Seminar which includes information on the importance of budgeting for childcare expenses and investigating company-sponsored programs. The Student Counseling Center offers counseling for couples and some evening hour services which are often more convenient for student-parents.

The Hall Health Primary Care Center provides a full range of services, including preventive care, health education programs, and the diagnosis and treatment of illness or injury. All services are provided by University of Washington medical faculty and staff, a group of highly trained and experienced professionals. The center offers pediatric services to meet the health needs of children.

University of Washington Educational Outreach offers exciting educational experiences in the summer for first through 12 grade students.
