2013 P450 Conference Travel Information
The conference will be held in the newly remodeled Student Union Building (HUB).The HUB offers excellent meeting and dining facilities, located in the heart of the park-like University of Washington campus. The HUB is located within a comfortable walking distance of most of the nearby hotels (listed below).
The campus is located approximately four miles north of downtown Seattle and 20 miles north of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac).

The conference location is in the Husky Union Building (HUB) on the University of Washington campus. For a map and directions, link to http://www.washington.edu/maps/ and put "HUB" in the keyword box.
A car is not necessary for conference participants who will be staying in University area hotels. The recommended hotels are walking distance from the UW campus, or a shuttle is provided by the hotel.

June is a popular time to visit Seattle and lodging in near the campus is very limited. You are encouraged to reserve your hotel soon. Please mention that you are attending a University of Washington conference
and request the UW rate.

Rooms in campus residence halls, inclusive of some meals will be available. The Residence Halls are newly constructed and are conveniently located near the meeting venue.

Package 1: Private room with private bath - $406.65 per person. Includes 4 nights lodging, $50 toward meals, and all taxes.
Package 2: Shared room* with bath - $270.65 per person. Includes 4 nights lodging, $50 toward meals, and all taxes.
You may make your dorm room reservation online.
*Roommate matching is available for those choosing a shared room in the campus dorm. If you do not have a specific roommate to request, you are welcome to register as a double and the housing manager will attempt to pair you with another attendee who wishes to share a dorm room. However please keep in mind that in the event we do not have another participant with the same request, the rate would be changed to a single and the attendee would be responsible for the difference in price.
