{"id":3726,"date":"2016-06-17T12:53:43","date_gmt":"2016-06-17T20:53:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pactrans\/?p=3726"},"modified":"2016-06-17T12:53:43","modified_gmt":"2016-06-17T20:53:43","slug":"two-osu-student-researchers-elected-to-trb-committees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pactrans\/two-osu-student-researchers-elected-to-trb-committees\/","title":{"rendered":"Two OSU Student Researchers Elected to TRB Committees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">The Transportation Research Board (TRB) has groups called standing committees that are tasked with a range of services including: identifying research needs; providing information to the transportation community on research priorities and procedures; reviewing papers for presentation at the TRB Annual Meeting and for publication; encouraging the incorporation of appropriate research findings into practice; and developing special programs, conferences, and workshops. Standing committee members may serve up to three consecutive three-year terms and are considered experts in their field.
