ARTBA awards national recognition and cash prizes to students who submit the most creative, informative, and engaging short video. The contest is open to students in both K-12 and post-secondary education, allowing several students from CUTC-affiliated universities to win big in this year\u2019s contest.<\/p>\n<p>Four students from CUTC-affiliated universities have won top prizes in this year\u2019s contest. Among them was University of Washington student Daniel Shen who won 1st place in the RED General Transportation category. His video,\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ic50Gg3se08\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Gas Tax<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0describes the low-cost, high-reward nature of the gas tax in his video, closely examining the tax\u2019s overall effects on both consumers and federal infrastructure.\u00a0 Daniel is a senior at the University of Washington working to complete a degree in business administration.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second year in a row that a Seattle submission took home a gold, last year was from a <a href=\"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/pactrans\/seattle-academy-junior-wins-artba-student-transportation-video-contest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">local high school student<\/a>.\u00a0Congratulations to all winners of this year\u2019s student video contest!
