Applications for the July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020 academic fellowship year will be
available via the ERAS site after January 2018.

Applicants should review the ERAS site for upcoming deadlines.  We will participate in the July 2018 selection process for the academic year July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020.

Eligibility requirements for all applicants:

  • Applicants must have completed an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Applications for the July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020 academic fellowship year will be available via the ERAS site after January 2018.  Applicants should review that site (https://students-residents.aamc.org/training-residency-fellowship/applying-fellowships-eras/) for upcoming deadlines.  We will participate in the July 2018 selection process for the academic year July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020.  Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Radiation Oncology, or Surgery.
  • Foreign medical graduates with J-1 visas meeting the above criteria are eligible to apply; individuals holding other visa types cannot be considered at this time.

To be considered for the UW Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program, applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
