Are you interested in cochlear implant research?

Cochlear implant users of all ages are needed for research studies at the University of Washington .

Examples of study topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Factors that influence cochlear implant performance
  • Strategies to improve speech and music perception
  • Sound discrimination by newly implanted young children
  • Music perception in Advanced Bionics implants

We are always looking for people who are interested in being contacted about participating in research studies. If you join our Participant Pool and are contacted about a study, the researcher would tell all of the details about the study, such as how long it takes, what you would do and how much you would be paid. Then you are free to decide if you would like to participate in the study. For more information about how the Participant Pool works click here.
