More psychosocial treatments with demonstrated effectiveness are becoming available.  There is an increased focus on comparative effectiveness and accountability for outcomes, and use of evidence-based services. The practice of implementation, however, is outpacing the science. How much do we know about the effective implementation in community practice of effective treatments and services?  How can we leverage the practice and research of implementation to generate empirical evidence that supports valid inferences about the effectiveness of specific implementation strategies?  This presentation is designed to stimulate discussion amongst all participants of these and related issues.
