Professional Summary

Dr. Lee is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. His academic career developed from a commitment to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged youth with mental health concerns. He provides evidence-based direct clinical services, consultation and treatment to youth involved with the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. His advocacy work focuses on increasing efficiencies in child-serving systems of care and promoting policies that increase access to effective and cost-effective treatments. His teaching and training activities include operating a training site for general and child psychiatry residents, co-teaching a multidisciplinary graduate level course, and serving as an American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Child Psychiatry Board Examiner and Maintenance of Certification Committee Member.
