Our Current Students

Our students come to us from all over the US and abroad. Around a fifth come from local colleges, finding life in the Pacific Northwest too compelling to abandon. We have representatives from Stanford, MIT, Reed College, UCSD, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, Oberlin, Boston University, U. Miami, U. Michigan and Spelman, among others.  They come with backgrounds as diverse as their geographic origins, including engineering, cell biology and economics.  Some of our students begin as parents, and some become parents during their graduate work; see here for information about childcare resources.
