Previously known as the Bernier Lab, the Research in Autism and the Brain Lab (RAB Lab) is committed to advancing our understanding of autism spectrum disorders and other related developmental disabilities by identifying and clarifying how autism develops, how the brain is involved, and how we can intervene to improve the quality of life for individuals and their families.

Located at the Center on Human Development and Disability (CHDD) at the University of Washington and the Seattle Children’s Autism Center, we collaborate with scientists and employ approaches such as imaging, genetic sequencing, and behavioral assignments to ensure that we’re moving science forward as quickly as possible in the service of families.
