Use a Union Printer!
Seeing a "bug" (a union insignia) on printed material is the most obvious sign that it has been union made. However, some union shops do not put the bug on automatically. We urge you to use union printers, and to request that they include the bug. Publication Services at the University of Washington is a union shop and will be happy to include the bug if you ask. However, it is possible that they will contract your print job out to a non-union shop unless you make the specific request to have it union printed. If you ask for the bug, they will either do your job in-house, or send it to another union shop. If you need resources that are not on campus, you can find a union print shop near you by going to: www.gciu.org
