The Peace Corps Master's International (PCMI) Program combines graduate school with two years in the Peace Corps to give students academic preparation and international development experience. This website provides highlights of each PCMI student and resources for both prospective and current students.
There are three PCMI programs at the University of Washington:
International Health, in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, focuses on community health and primary health care systems of the developing world and leads to a Master's of Public Health (MPH).
International Forestry, in the College of Forestry, focuses on sustainable natural resource and forest product use in the developing world and leads to a Master's of Forest Resources (MFR).
International Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) Development, in the Evans School of Public Affairs, focuses on program evaluation, policy analysis, project management and organizational development of non-profit organizations and public agencies. This programs leads to a Master's of Public Administration (MPA). |
