What is the PDA Center ?

The Professional Development in Autism (PDA) Center provides trainings and consulting services to school teams who work with students with ASD from diagnosis through 21. Our goal is to increase the capacity of school teams so that every child with ASD can access a high-quality public education.

We have 5 center locations around the country: University of Washington, University of Colorado at Denver, Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education, University of South Florida and University of Oklahoma.


The PDA Center offers a variety of trainings, workshops and other consultation services based on individual levels of support and need.

Leadership

Training and action planning for systematically improving educational services for students with ASD at the state and district level.

Extended Consultation

Extended consultation is available for teams seeking long term assistance.

 

PDA Workshops

The PDA Center provides workshops regarding effective programming for students with ASD and related disorders.

Implementer

Training on the design and implementation of effective educational services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

  

Trainer

Training and technical assistance on professional development methods, increased expertise in specific topics, and evaluating school services for improvement.
