Rosetta Inpharmatics Fellowship
in Molecular Profiling
Rosetta
Inpharmatics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co., funds a
combination of predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowship awards at the
University of Washington each year. The fellowship program provides
eleven months of stipend funding for advanced study and research in
statistics, genetics or molecular biology applied to molecular
profiling. The partnership between Rosetta Inpharmatics and the UW
significantly enhances research opportunities in molecular profiling in
Seattle, providing much-needed funding for students to concentrate
solely on their research pursuits. This partnership also expands the
role of the UW in Seattle's biotechnology industry and spotlights the
importance of graduate education in scientific innovation.
