The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Personnel has recently prepared a fact sheet on postdocs at the UW. It provides a very informative profile of research associates, senior fellows, research associate trainees and senior fellow trainees on our three campuses.

Work/Life services at the UW include:

  • Workplace or Relationship Violence
     The University of Washington provides resources to assist in preventing either workplace or relationship violence. Please see the website, www.safecampus.washington.edu. For non-urgent concerns regarding the threat of violence a hotline is available round the clock; call 685-SAFE (or 685-7233).


:Support Group for New Parents:

A support group for postdocs who are new parents meets from 12:30 - 1:20 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.  For information about the location, please contact Thomas Gething, Director of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, at gething@u.washington.edu.
