The City of Cheyenne

Not only is Cheyenne the capital of Wyoming, it is the Rodeo and Railroad Capital.  Cheyenne has many western attractions and events and a rich railroad, military, and ranching history.  It covers a land area of 21.1 square miles and is at an elevation of 6000 feet.  The population is around 56,000.  Cheyenne is close to the Colorado and Nebraska borders.  The north-south Interstate 25 intersects with the east-west Interstate 80.  FE Warren Air Force Base, home to the Minute Man Missile, is located here.
