chief of the Pediatric Pulmonary Division. Over the past 25 years he has
strived to build a team that excels in all facets of pulmonary medicine.
The Pediatric Pulmonary Division emphasizes the comprehensive and compassionate
care of children with respiratory-related disorders, clinical and basic
science research, and training in pulmonary medicine for medical students,
residents, pulmonary fellows, and allied healthcare providers. We have
14 board-certified/eligible pediatric pulmonologists and 4 nurse practitioners.
We have certified cystic fibrosis and sleep centers and an active asthma
program. We have NIH funding to study pseudomonas microbiology, infant/toddler
asthma, and cystic fibrosis. We have active inpatient, outpatient, and
consultative clinical services.
