Dr. Debley received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical
School, Chicago, IL. He completed his pediatrics internship and residency
at Children’s Memorial Hospital, also in Chicago. He spent one year
as Chief Resident in Pediatrics at Children’s Memorial and then
was a pediatric hospitalist at Emanuel Children’s Hospital in Portland,
Oregon. He completing his pediatric pulmonary fellowship at Seattle Children’s
Hospital in 2003 and also earned a Masters
in Public health from the University of Washington. He is current the
director of Pediatric Flexile bronchoscopy.
Dr. Debley has expertise and in asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchoplumonary
dysplasia, restrictive lung diseases of childhood, management of acute
and chronic respiratory failure, and flexible bronchoscopy. He enjoys
all aspects of clinical pediatric pulmonary medicine. His research interests
include recurrent wheezing of early childhood, asthma epidemiology, and
non-invasive measures of airflow obstruction and airway inflammation in
young children.

Debley is committed to expanding clinical pulmonary services at Children’s
hospital and establishing a sound pediatric asthma research base. He is
also extremely involved with medical student, resident, and fellow training.
