Dr. Marshall earned her undergraduate and MD degrees at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed her pediatric residency and fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital/University of Washington. Since then she has been an active member of the pulmonary division. In 2004 she was named the Associate Dean for Curriculum at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Despite this full-time position, Dr. Marshall continues to participate in chest clinic on a weekly basis.
Dr. Marshall’s clinical interests span the entire scope of pulmonary medicine, but she is especially involved with patients suffering from neuromuscular disease, cystic fibrosis, and those with psychosocial issues. Her dedication to teaching, educational planning, and curriculum development led her to taking a full-time job at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Despite her many duties at the University of Washington, Dr. Marshall continues to be an important part of the Pulmonary Division. Medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty benefit from her clinical expertise and dedication to higher education.
