On-line Portfolio Tool

The Portfolio Tool will allow students to collect and display a variety of objects (papers, videos, computer programs, etc.) that illustrate their accomplishments throughout their university careers. Students can arrange and annotate these objects in a variety of ways to demonstrate their abilities for prospective employers, graduate schools, and other groups they may interact with as they prepare for their futures.

Creating personal, unique portfolios will allow students to reflect on their own learning processes and help them to evaluate their university experiences. The tool will also allow UW instructors to easily integrate student portfolios into course assignments and use the tool to assess learning outcomes. It will also prove to be invaluable to academic advisors and career counselors who can use it to access a more complete picture of a student's university experience.
