Students are admitted to the School of Pharmacy only after the completion of a minimum of two years of college level prerequisites. The courses listed below may be taken at any accredited college or university with the appropriate curricular offerings. The Admissions Committee strongly recommends completion of science and mathematics courses within the last five years. Students who have questions about acceptability of their coursework should contact our advisors. Students who have not completed the prerequisites may apply, provided they will complete any remaining prerequisites by the end of Spring term. School of Pharmacy applications are available from the Office of Academic and Student Programs. The School begins reviewing supplemental applications beginning November 1, 2009. All supplemental application materials must be postmarked by the application deadline which is January 5, 2009 or hand-delivered by January 5, 2009, 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time. Applicants will also need to apply through PharmCAS. Prerequisite lists with course numbers for specific Washington State community colleges, four-year colleges and universities are available below. Community College inquiries may refer to the UW transfer guide for distribution category of courses at http://www.washington.edu/students/uga/tr/planning/ccequivguide/ Information is subject to change - please stay in touch with us regarding any changes. Specific prerequisite course lists are not available for out-of-state schools, but individual courses may be evaluated upon request. Please send a copy of course descriptions and syllabi to the Office of Academic and Student Programs for review.
