Mary F. Hebert, PharmD, FCCP
Principal Investigator
Dr. Hebert is a Professor of Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy and Core Member
of the University of Washington, Center for Ecogenetics and Environmental
Health. She is also recognized as a Fellow by the American College of
Clinical Pharmacy. Dr. Hebert received her PharmD degree (1987) and completed
a Clinical Pharmacy Residency (1988) and Fellowship (1990) at the University
of California, San Francisco. Dr. Hebert joined the University of Washington
Faculty in 1996 after serving on the Clinical Faculty at the University
of California, San Francisco for 6 years.
Thomas Easterling, MD
Obstetrics Director
Dr. Easterling is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
and Acting Director of the Division of Perinatal Medicine. He is Board
Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr.
Easterling received his B.A. in Psychology (1972) at Davidson College,
teaching certification (1973) at University of North Carolina, Chapel
Hill and MD (1981) at the University of North Carolina. He then completed
his OB/GYN Residency (1985) at Oregon Health & Science University and his Maternal-Fetal
Medicine Fellowship (1987) at the University of Washington. Dr. Easterling
joined the University of Washington Faculty in 1985.
Jashvant D. Unadkat, PhD
Core Laboratory Director
Dr. Unadkat is a Professor of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmacy and a Research
Affiliate of the Washington National Primate Research Center, Center for
Human Development and Disability and the Center for AIDS and STD at the
University of Washington. Dr. Unadkat received his Bachelors degree in
Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from the University of London (1977) and his PhD in
Pharmacy from the University of Manchester (1982). Dr. Unadkat joined
the University of Washington after postdoctoral training in the Division
of Clinical Pharmacology, University of California at San Francisco (1985).
Paolo Vicini, PhD
Modeling Core Director
Dr. Vicini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering,
Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Director
of the Population Kinetics Resource Facility at the University of Washington.
Dr. Vicini received his laurea in Electronic Engineering (1992) at the
University of Padua, Italy, his PhD in Bioengineering (1996) at Polytechnic
of Milan, Italy and completed his postdoctoral training at the University
of Washington (1998). Dr. Vicini joined the University of Washington Faculty
in 1998.
