International Community Health Services Residency Program Site Descriptions
This community health center is located in the Seattle International District. Its mission is to provide affordable and culturally sensitive primary care services to the Asian and Pacific Islanders and other members in the community. The ICHS clinic has an in-house licensed pharmacy currently staffed with two full-time and two part-time pharmacists, as well as two full-time pharmacy technicians. The clinic serves patients of multiple ethnicities, including Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Cambodian and Samoan. In addition to primary medical care, the clinic also has an onsite dental clinic, laboratory and a traditional Chinese Herbal/Acupuncture clinic. The width and breadth of the service activities in the clinic will enable the resident to sufficiently achieve his/her learning objectives and goals.
