Faculty Profile

Chu Chen, Ph.D., NRCC, DABCC

Dr. Chen is an Affiliate Professor of Medicine in the UW School of Medicine, and Affiliate Professor of Epidemiology in the UW School of Public Health, and a Full Member in the Division of Public Health Sciences at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Major research emphases focus on the possible role of metabolic enzymes in the activation and detoxification of potential carcinogens in the environment, and the role of steroid hormones and growth factors in the etiology of cancer.
