From the north via I-5 southbound

Take the NE 45th Street exit (#169) from I-5 southbound. Turn left onto NE 45th Street. Continue east about 4/10 mile to 15th Avenue NE and turn right. Continue east to the first left turn option; the road makes a "Y" at that traffic-lighted intersection. Turn left onto NE Pacific Place. Continue a short distance to Montlake Blvd. Cross Montlake Blvd. and enter at the front of Husky Stadium. (You will be on a brick surface in front of the stadium gates.) Turn right again and proceed to the gatehouse (Gate #8) to purchase a parking permit and obtain directions.
You will be entering a UW Parking Services lot (E-12); there is a partial refund for parking under 4 hours. Ask the traffic guide for details.

Parking options:

Directions/parking to various campus locations http://www.washington.edu/admin/parking/directions/
Public parking on campus is limited and all parking at the UW is provided on a space-available basis. Cost and availability vary depending on the time of day.

Weekday parking ( 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

On weekdays, parking spaces are in especially high demand in South Campus. There are several parking lots on campus within a 15 minute walk (approximately) from the Health Sciences building; these lots are more likely to have space available.

Unless otherwise noted, parking in UW lots costs $9.00/day with a prorated refund for users who park fewer than 4 hours. Be sure to stop at the gatehouse upon exit to get your partial refund, if you qualify for one.

Evening/weekend parking

On evenings and weekends, parking is generally easier to obtain and less costly. The parking fee at gatehouses in main, east and south campus is $4.00 in the evening (4:00-9:00 p.m.) or on Saturday mornings (7:00 a.m. - noon). Parking is generally free after noon on Saturdays and all day on Sunday and University holidays and holiday weekends.

Space in the South Campus Parking Garage (S-1) between the Health Sciences Building and the South Campus Center is often available after 4:00 p.m. weekdays and on weekends. To access the S1 garage, follow above directions to 15th Ave NE. At bottom of the hill, go through NE Pacific Street and continue on 15th Ave NE as it curves left instead of turning left onto NE Pacific Street. Proceed to the gatehouse (#6) to purchase a parking permit. If you need disability parking, the traffic guide will be able to assist you. They can also provide directions to the S-1 Parking Garage that is located just beyond the gatehouse on the right. After entering through the gatehouse, the Health Sciences Building is the large building on your left.
