Sorry, but the UWUPR is currently out of print. Our previous guidelines read as follows:
We are now accepting papers for the next edition, and you are encouraged to submit! Submissions are due on the first Monday of every month; all undergraduate submissions are welcome.
Papers must be philosophical in content, and may consist in extracurricular essays, course-related essays, discussions, book reviews, and responses to previous articles.
Submissions should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced. Please keep submissions less than 15 pages in length, and attach a short (100-300 word) abstract or summary of your paper.
Submissions should be formatted according to the Chicago Manual of Style, especially the citations, footnotes, and endnotes.
Please make sure to provide proper documentation for all of the quotes and sources you cite in your paper. We cannot publish a paper without proper documentation.
After all papers have been received, they will undergo a one to two week reading and editing process, during which time you will be contacted as to the status of your paper. You can save us time by making sure your submission is grammatically correct, clear, and as readable as possible at the level of an advanced undergraduate. Papers will be selected first on the basis of readability and philosophical content, and second on the order in which they are received.
