GUIDED NATURE WALK
Did you know Salishan is the first golf course in Oregon to be certified
as an Audubon sanctuary? Take a 1-11/2 hr-guided tour starting at the The
Westin Salishan and head to the Siletz Bay to see the projects under taken
for Audubon Certification. Led by a Certified Audubon member. If the group
wishes, it will continue on into the "rain forest" to perhaps see
more birds. 1 hr walk covers 3-4 miles; 1 ½ hr walk covers 4.5-5 miles each
traveled at a leisurely pace. 25 person maximum group size. $3.00 per person.

6-8pm. Hors d’oeuvres replace dinner as only Salishan chefs can serve. A no-host
bar will be available. At your leisure take a tour of the Salishan Wine Cellar.
COCKTAIL HOUR MUSIC
The Trillium Flute Ensemble has
played together for ten years. Jean Funk studied flute performance
in college, currently teaches flute and piano, and accompanies the Scappoose
High School Choir. Holly Barbour studied for a Masters in Music
Education, has taught flute and grade school music, currently is a church
choir director, and recently worked with the Victim Assistance Program in
Columbia County, Oregon. Judith Hayes, the medical librarian
at Tuality Healthcare in Hillsboro, OR, has taught flute to beginning students,
is currently a church organist and choir accompanist, and marches in parades
around the country with the One More Time Around Again Band from Portland.
Together, they have over 100 years in music!
BANQUET UNDER THE STARS

POST-CONFERENCE TRIP TO THE OREGON
COAST AQUARIUM
Join us at the Oregon Coast Aquarium to finish the conference with a flourish.
You'll see a marvelous variety of sea life, including the amazing jellyfish
exhibit, leopard sharks, huge halibut, saucy sea otters, and pompous puffins.
