Please Join Us to Help Celebrate 50 Years in the Pacific Northwest! “There’s no place like home!”2004 PNC MLA Exhibitor Space Application
The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary at this year’s annual meeting in Seattle. Please plan on joining us as a vendor!
We will be meeting at the Washington Athletic Club in Downtown Seattle from October 2 – 5, 2004. Our theme for this year builds on Libraries as Places and our Keynote speakers will be the architects who designed the Seattle Public Library. In addition to looking at new physical designs for libraries in the future, we will have sessions focused on reusing old spaces, and virtual spaces.
Our vendor day will be Monday, October 4 from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We will have our traditional Lunch with the Vendors where our members will have time to spend with you. We are encouraging UW Information School students to attend our meeting to introduce them to the world of Medical Librarianship. If you are interested in sponsoring a "conference scholarship" for one of these students, please contact Marcy Horner via email at email@example.com, or via phone at 208-666-2483. Other sponsorship opportunities include helping to cover the costs of our luncheon, breaks, or opening reception.
We will have a special fun event this year It Shouldn’t Take an Earthquake!! One of the conference sessions will be devoted to office space planning, and making the most of small spaces. We would like to award an office makeover to one lucky attendee. Before and After photos will be featured on our website following the conference, with attributions for sponsors. If you have door prizes that fit this theme, or would like to contribute funds to this worthy effort, please make a note on the exhibit reservation form.
