PNC/MLA Chapter Council Roundtable Mini-GrantsThe PNC/MLA Chapter Council Roundtable Mini-Grant are designed to encourage participation in the MLA Chapter Counsel Roundtable event by PNC members. The PNC Board recognizes that the cost of the roundtable lunch is sometimes prohibitive. The aim of the fund is to improve access for members who are attending MLA but would not otherwise be able to attend the roundtable luncheon. All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria. The applications will be reviewed by designated members of the Executive Board, and all applicants will be notified of the Board's decisions. The preferred deadline for submitting an application for the 2010 MLA meeting will be April 21, 2010, to take advantage of early discounts in registration and lodging. For 2010, there are funds for three member scholarships of $54. NOTE: Funds are generally reimbursed/disbursed to recipients after attendance at the selected meeting/program/course. Factors to be considered in awarding of grants:
Award amounts will be determined by the Board based on number of applicants and amount of funds available. The deadline for application for the 2010 MLA meeting is April 21, 2010.
