Mission Statement
The Mission of the Program on the Environment is to deliver interdisciplinary, hands-on education at the human-environment nexus.
Goals
- Provide students with high-quality, relevant and rigorous environmental education.
- Create meaningful opportunities for students to learn from and contribute to the community.
- Connect faculty from across UW campuses to teach, learn, and interact.
- Teach problem-solving through community-based project learning.
- Humanize environmental issues.
- Transform wide ranging disciplinary training/knowledge into interdisciplinary problem solving.
