Graduate Admissions Information
The Program on the Environment does not offer Graduate degree programs at this time and does not offer admission to Graduate students. Students interested in graduate studies at the University of Washington need to identify a graduate degree program of interest and apply for admission through the appropriate academic unit. Applications for admission to graduate programs generally require two separate sets of application forms be sent: one to the University of Washington Graduate School and the second to the department or program you wish to enroll in. More specific information on Graduate School application procedures is available on the Web at http://www.washington.edu/students/grad/adminfo.html The Graduate School also provides a web-based admissions checklist for international students (not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident). Students interested in continuing education but who do not want to pursue a Master's or Doctorate may want to explore courses and certificates offered through UW Educational Outreach, which offers a number of environmentally related Certificate programs.
