Funding

Whether you are an incoming or current UW student, you may be eligible for a variety of local, national, merit-based, or need-based awards. Note especially that some awards, such as the Morris K. Udall Scholarship, are designed for students in fields related to the environment. In the last two years, PoE Environmental Studies majors have been nominated both for the prestigious Morris K. Udall and for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Competitions. See a PoE Adviser or the following online resources for information on scholarship opportunities.

Program on the Environment Sources

The Program on the Environment Student Success Fund offers grants to students up to a maximum amount of $500 per student per year to support student learning and professional development. Grants are awarded twice annually and are typically used to fund conferences, training programs, workshops, study abroad, fieldwork, or other academic and professional activities and expenses.
