KEYNOTE SPEAKER PROFILE
Yoshihiko
Miyauchi, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer, ORIX Corporation will speak at the PRBP
30th Anniversary Banquet. We are pleased to feature Mr.
Miyauchi who is an energetic presence and brings with him
expertise and enthusiasm as an industry leader. |
Yoshihiko Miyauchi began his career at Nichimen & Co., Ltd.
which is currently Sojitz Corporation in 1960. He worked there
for four years before entering Orient Leasing Co., Ltd.--currently
ORIX Corporation--as one of the 13 founding members in 1964.
Miyauchi became a Director in 1970 and was appointed President
and CEO in 1980, a position he held until he assumed his present
role as Chairman and CEO in April 2000.
DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP AWARD PROFILE
Four outstanding banking leaders will be honored with this award
which acknowledges their notable accomplishments, powerful connections
to the banking community and their continued support of the Pacific
Rim Bankers Program.
The four awardees are:
They have been hand chosen for their diligence, commitment, and
honorable services in the banking world.
Most of the recipients will be present in Taiwan and throughout
the evening, we will have a chance to hear from them as they accept
