Build a Relationship, Change a Life!

Shanti Program volunteers:

Provide emotional support to people with HIV/AIDS, Multiple Sclerosis, addiction & recovery issues, or other life-challenging illnesses Provide one-to-one, nonjudgmental, compassionate listening Build relationships with clients who are often otherwise isolated and alone

During our four-day training, volunteers will gain skills in working with:

Grief & loss Chemical dependency & recovery Mental health issues Serving stigmatized populations

We are currently accepting applications for our next four-day training, which will be held:

October 13th, 14th, 20th, & 21st.
