Dr. Frumkin is Dean of University of Washington School of Public Health, Former Chair of Rollins School of Public Health at Emory, Former Director, National Center for Environmental Health and Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry at CDC (2005-2010) and, currently, Special Assistant to the CDC Director for Climate Change and Health (2010-).

3.    Migrants, refugees and displacement health (lessons learned about global health from refugee experiences; health Implications of rural-urban migration; war and displacement -Internal and external)

4.    Policy, law, health, and well-being (ACA, PEPFAR, intellectual property rights, genomics, access to essential drugs, etc.) 

5.    Ethics in global health (benefits/drawbacks of aid and NGO’s)

6.    Changing patterns of disease (neglected tropical diseases, burden of chronic diseases, aging)

7.   Technology revolution and health (use of cell phones for health surveillance, remote diagnosis, directly observed treatment, telemedicine, genetics, personalized medicine and designer babies)
